Every piece is unique, and the way it travels is chosen for it: hand delivery in Paris, specialist carriers for large volumes. The rates below are a guide. The final amount is confirmed according to the volume, the address and the fragility of the piece.
Section A — Furniture

For heavy or bulky pieces, we work with a small, trusted network: our own cargo bike for Paris and the inner suburbs, Cocolis parcel ride-sharing in France and the EU, specialist furniture carriers for assembled pieces, and hand delivery for the largest items. Every shipment is prepared in the workshop, with reinforced packaging suited to the piece. The final rate depends on volume, distance and ease of access (floor, lift, dismantling).

An in-house LAPIERRE MARKET service, run by us on an electric cargo bike. Suited to compact and mid-sized pieces: chairs, lamps, small storage, vases, tableware. A modular USM configuration can be delivered over several trips. Last-mile emissions fall to almost nothing, where the diesel van remains the industry norm. Not suitable for large sofas or bulky sideboards.

Section B — Tableware
China, vases, glassware, ceramics.
Tableware (Gien plates, Vallauris vases, Iittala glasses, Quimper ceramics) travels differently. Lighter, more fragile and more exposed to breakage in transit, these pieces call for another way of shipping: Mondial Relay pick-up points for mainland France, Colissimo home delivery for France and Europe. The same rule applies in both cases: double-box packaging, foam or bubble-wrap cushioning, a “FRAGILE” label on the parcel and declared-value insurance as standard.

Mondial Relay, pick-up points in France
The Mondial Relay network covers more than 10,000 pick-up points in mainland France. You collect your piece from a point near you, within 5 to 7 working days. It is the most economical option for small volumes: single plates, cups, small vases. Online tracking from the moment the parcel leaves the workshop; it is held for fourteen days at the pick-up point.
Colissimo, France, Europe and international
Colissimo delivers to your door anywhere in France (3 to 5 working days) and in the European Union (5 to 10 working days). Outside the EU (United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, United States, Canada), lead times stretch to 7 to 15 working days depending on customs. Signature on delivery as standard. Detailed tracking. Customs duties and VAT outside the EU are payable by the recipient.
Packaging made for fragile pieces
Every tableware piece leaves in a double box: an inner carton fitted to the piece and cushioned with polyethylene foam or bubble wrap, then an oversized outer carton that absorbs shocks. For tall vases or complete services, we build a made-to-measure crate in the workshop. “FRAGILE” and “THIS WAY UP” are marked on all six sides.
Declared-value insurance included
All our Mondial Relay and Colissimo shipments are insured for the declared value of the piece, with no excess. In the event of documented breakage on receipt (photographs within 48 hours, packaging kept), we cover a full refund or offer an equivalent replacement where possible.
Tracking and confirmation
Tracking number sent by email as soon as the parcel leaves the workshop. Automatic updates when the carrier collects it, when it reaches the pick-up point or when it is delivered to your door. We follow every shipment until receipt is confirmed. If anything goes wrong, we take it up with the carrier ourselves, with nothing for you to do.
Good to know
For particularly fragile pieces or complete services of more than twelve pieces, we prefer Colissimo to Mondial Relay (less handling). For a multiple order, a dinner service for instance, we group the shipment and offer free shipping on purchases of €400 or more in mainland France.
