Professional disposals: lots and office fleets
An office fleet at the end of its cycle, a dealer lot, a notarial estate or an end of lease: we tell you what we will take from the inventory, invoicing is done properly, and we commit to a date.
This page is for companies renewing their furniture, dealers, notaries and enforcement officers, interior architects, and hotels and restaurants under renovation. If you are selling in a personal capacity, see selling as a private owner instead.
We work anywhere in France and take what we know how to authenticate, restore and resell. Anything else, you will know about from the inventory stage.
Office furniture fleets
The USM Haller units installed in head offices between the eighties and the two-thousands are reaching the end of their cycle. They often end up in a skip, when they could serve for another thirty years.
What we take
We take USM Haller in every form: storage, side units, low units, hanging-file pedestals, Kitos tables. We also take seating by identified designers in documented editions, as well as meeting tables and lighting by recognised makers.
Generic office furniture, partition screens and unsigned production seating are not for us: at our price level, they have no second-hand market.
What we bring
We dismantle into labelled modules (see assembly and disassembly) and give you a priced inventory by lot. When we commit to a handover date, we hold to it.
What we need
Send us a photo inventory, even one taken on a phone, the number of workstations, and the building's access constraints and hours. Above all, the deadline.
Dealers and antique traders
In a lot of a hundred pieces, there are often three or four signed ones. A generalist has neither the time to authenticate them nor the clientele to sell them, so they earn more by setting them aside and selling them to us than by selling them piecemeal.
We buy outright, from photographs, and we answer quickly. We do not renegotiate on site unless the piece genuinely differs from the photographs, and then we document the difference.
For a complete specialist stock, it is best to talk directly.
Notaries and estates
On an estate or a liquidation, we work in two stages. First we write a reasoned valuation that can go into the file, then we buy the lots that fall within our specialism.
We work alongside the auction houses. We are most useful where a generalist valuation undervalues, such as a USM in a rare colour or an author piece nobody has identified.
Architects and public venues
For interior architects, we take back what falls within our scope at the end of a project, and we supply at the start: see our trade offer.
In hotels and restaurants, a renovation releases coherent sets: seating, lighting, lobby furniture. A matching set sells better than a single piece. Condition is all that matters, and we tell you precisely what we can still take.
How we proceed
- You write to us with the nature of the job, the volume, the location and the deadline. One overall photograph is enough.
- We sort from the inventory, lot by lot, what we take and what we leave.
- We make you a priced offer by lot, with, where useful, the probable resale price behind it.
- For amounts that warrant one, we sign a deed of sale.
- We arrange collection anywhere in France, at our cost, dismantling included.
- Settlement is by bank transfer, on the contract's terms.
Discretion
We do not disclose where the pieces we buy come from, and no names appear on our product pages without your explicit consent.
Opening a file
Write to us at infos@lapierremarket.fr or use the contact form. If you have a fixed deadline, put it in the first line.
Our buying scope, brand by brand, is on the sell page, authentication before disposal is covered under USM Haller appraisal, and the case for second-hand under circular economy.

Frequently asked
Frequently asked.
Will you take an entire office furniture fleet?
We take signed, durable furniture: USM Haller above all, seating by identified designers and meeting tables by recognised makers. Generic contemporary fleets are not for us. On a mixed floor, we sort upstream from a photo inventory.
How does invoicing work?
As between businesses: you issue a proper invoice, we pay by bank transfer on the contract's terms, and larger amounts come with an itemised deed of sale. For intra-community disposals, the applicable regime is set before collection.
We have an end-of-lease date we cannot miss. Do you hold to deadlines?
We only commit to dates we can hold, and would rather turn a job down than make you miss a handover. Give us the date in your first message, because a job three weeks out is not handled like one three days out.
Are you competing with the dealers who sell you lots?
Sometimes on retail, never on trade. A generalist has neither the time to authenticate three USM units in a lot of a hundred pieces nor the clientele to sell them. We take them off their hands, and they are paid straight away.
Offer us a piece
Attach your photographs here, because the accuracy of the valuation depends on them. We reply within 24 to 48 working hours.
