Fitting out a space at Café La Chance for Nike Running

The project

For the launch of the ZoomX Pegasus Premium, Nike Running chose Café La Chance as its meeting place, and LAPIERRE MARKET designed the fit-out. The space had to welcome the runners who came to discover the new shoe while staying true to the café and to the culture of running in Paris.

Café La Chance is a lively, colourful and warm place. We wanted to extend that identity without distorting it, by adding more graphic and modular elements drawn from the USM Haller vocabulary.

The furniture

The space was organised around USM Haller units configured for the occasion, in lacquered metal and at a raised height, with grey and black benches made for the event. Lounge Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames, in the Mobilier International edition, completed the set and brought warmer seating alongside the rigour of the metal structures.

The event, organised by Nike Running, brought together several figures from the Paris scene, among them the @joliefoulee collective. The photographs are by @vincentluis.

Rental and fit-outs
